Consultation on draft standards for Cervical Screening
Come along and share your views on the revised standards for cervical screening at an online focus group at 12.30pm on Wednesday 20 November 2024
What’s happening?
Healthcare Improvement Scotland are currently reviewing the 2019 cervical screening standards in collaboration with NHS staff and third sector organisations. These standards will act as a benchmark for service provision. They provide a national minimum level of what a good service looks like – with the idea being that this makes sure people can be confident of getting person-centred, safe and effective healthcare.
The standards will cover all services that play a role in cervical screening - from sample takers to laboratories.
The revised draft standards are published on the HIS website along with a consultation survey.
Who is this event for?
Filling out a consultation survey isn’t for everyone. This event is for any people with lived experience, who’d prefer to come and share their views and experience in a shared discussion space.
Why take part?
You’ll be joined along with members of the team at Healthcare Improvement Scotland who are developing the standards - so you’ll be able to speak to them directly about what you like, what you don't like and what you think is missing!
